UniFi Drive 4.0: smarter network storage with UNAS 4
Ubiquiti brings a major refresh to its network storage platform with UniFi Drive 4.0 and the new UNAS 4 and UNAS Pro 4 devices. Faster, smarter and deeply integrated into the UniFi ecosystem, they turn centralized storage into a natural part of your network.
Smarter network storage
On February 11, 2026, Ubiquiti released UniFi Drive 4.0, a major update to its network storage platform, alongside the expansion of NAS devices in the UniFi ecosystem. This version boosts the new UNAS 4 and UNAS Pro 4 with a faster, smarter and better-integrated experience.
UNAS 4: compact and powerful storage
The UNAS 4 (USD 379) offers four bays for 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch drives, two M.2 NVMe slots for SSD caching, 2.5 GbE connectivity, a USB-C port and a PoE+++ adapter. Its compact design is ideal for offices and homes that need centralized storage without taking up much space.
UNAS Pro 4: for demanding professionals
The UNAS Pro 4 delivers four bays with two M.2 NVMe slots for caching, 2.5 GbE connectivity and PoE+++ support. This model targets professionals and small businesses that need reliable, high-performance storage integrated into UniFi networks.
Full integration with the UniFi ecosystem
UniFi Drive 4.0 integrates natively across the whole UniFi ecosystem. UNAS devices act as a storage destination for UniFi Protect recordings, network configuration backups and team files, managed from unified interfaces without separate apps.
High-performance hybrid storage
By combining HDDs for capacity with NVMe SSDs for caching, UNAS devices provide hybrid storage that merges large capacity with fast read and write, ensuring quick access for frequent operations at a reasonable cost for large data volumes.
